SB320 Summary

• Adds Section 9-17-111 to the Alabama Code to prohibit liquefied petroleum gas (LP-Gas) permitees from filling or storing filled LP-Gas cylinders for retail sale within 3,000 feet of schools, churches, hospitals, athletic fields, or other public gathering places.

• Applies the 3,000-foot distance restriction to the boundary line of adjoining real property where these public facilities are located.

• Becomes effective on October 1, 2025.
