Amends Section 45-3-84.40 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to revise the compensation structure for the Judge of Probate of Barbour County, effective October 1, 2025.

Changes salary determination from an amount set by the Barbour County Commission to equal 70 percent of the salary paid to a state district court judge with equivalent years of service, including any cost-of-living adjustments.

Provides that salary increases automatically occur any time and in the same manner as state district court judges with the same cumulative years of service receive increases.

Requires the judge of probate to waive compensation provided under Section 17-3-60 relating to reports from the state voter registration list in order to receive the compensation.

Establishes that the judge of probate is entitled to travel expense reimbursement on the same basis as other county employees and that all fees and charges currently payable to the position shall be paid into the county general fund.
