Amends Section 45-39-245.47 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify how Lauderdale County distributes sales and use tax proceeds beginning October 1, 2025.

Requires the county governing body to transfer collected tax proceeds (less collection costs and lawful expenses) to the Shoals Economic Development Fund within 30 days of receipt.

Allocates one-twelfth of the total amount Colbert County contributed to the Shoals Economic Development Fund in the previous fiscal year as a separate distribution.

Distributes 55% of the remaining amount after the Colbert County allocation to the Lauderdale County Commission for economic development purposes.

Distributes 45% of the remaining amount after the Colbert County allocation to the City of Florence for economic development purposes.

Becomes effective June 1, 2025.
