SB65 Summary

• Alters and extends the corporate boundary lines of the Town of Paint Rock in Jackson County to include two additional tracts along U.S. Highway 72

• Tract One includes U.S. Highway 72 and its right-of-way from the eastern town boundary to the west bank of the Paint Rock River

• Tract Two includes U.S. Highway 72 and its right-of-way from the western town boundary to the centerline of the intersection with Alabama State Route 65

• A detailed map of the proposed boundary changes is filed and available for public inspection at the office of the Judge of Probate in Jackson County

• Becomes effective October 1, 2025
