Amends Code of Alabama Sections 34-19-12, 34-19-14, and 34-19-16 to revise the State Board of Midwifery's composition, powers, and midwifery practice standards.

Clarifies that board members nominated by professional organizations must be from the "Alabama Birth Coalition-Midwives Alliance or its successor professional midwifery organization" rather than just any designated organization.

Removes requirement that board rules reference essential documents from the Midwives Alliance of North America and instead requires rules to be consistent with the North American Registry of Midwives Job Analysis.

Expands licensed midwife annual reporting requirements to include births where the midwife was assisting another licensed midwife and requires public disclosure of this data in accordance with federal law.

Becomes effective October 1, 2025, and passed the Alabama Senate on April 8, 2025, with 32 votes in favor and no opposition.
