Increases director's fees for Alabama Municipal Electric Authority board members from $600 per meeting to $1,750 per month in which the member actually attends a meeting.

Increases director's fees for the board chair from $600 per meeting to $2,000 per month in which the chair actually attends a meeting.

Board retains discretion to pay these fees; members continue to be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in performing duties.

Amends Section 11-50A-6 of the Code of Alabama 1975 with various technical corrections and clarifications to board governance procedures.

Effective date: January 1, 2026.
