Highlights Alabama's leadership in reentry programs, specifically the Perry County PREP Center which has trained more than 300 graduates with zero recidivism through job training, substance abuse treatment, life skills, and educational opportunities

Affirms that supporting reentry and reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals enhances public safety, strengthens communities, relieves taxpayer burden, and reunites families

Commends the work of Reentry Alabama and its stakeholders, partners, and dedicated members in promoting second chances for individuals who have paid their debt to society

Passed the Alabama Senate on April 1, 2025 and the House of Representatives on April 8, 2025
