Commends Troy Regional Medical Center for being named one of the Chartis Center for Rural Health's Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals in 2025.

Troy Regional is the only Alabama hospital to achieve this elite ranking with an overall INDEX score of 73.9, compared to Alabama's median score of 23.7 and the national median of 34.2.

Troy Regional achieved a Quality Score of 88, placed in the 99th percentile for Cost, and scored in the 71st percentile for Capital Efficiency.

Recognizes that top-performing rural hospitals excel in managing risk, achieving higher quality outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, and operating at lower costs than peer facilities.

Passed by the Senate on April 15, 2025 and the House of Representatives on April 17, 2025.
