Recognizes April 1, 2025, as Alpha Phi Alpha Day at the Alabama State Capitol.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, was founded on December 4, 1906, at Cornell University as the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans.

Fraternity has produced over 200,000 members across 706 college and alumni chapters in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.

Fraternity's civic outreach programs have accumulated over one million hours of community service, produced $2.5 million in scholarships, and registered thousands of American citizens to vote.

The 17th Annual "Alpha Day at the Capitol" is represented by 32 chapters across Alabama under the leadership of District Director Michael Raynard Mayberry and District Deputy Director Kelvin T. Wallace, Sr.
