Amends overtime provisions for law enforcement officers in Tuscaloosa County and its cities, requiring time-and-one-half pay or compensatory leave for hours exceeding 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week

Allows Northport and Tuscaloosa city councils to adopt four 10-hour shift schedules for police positions, with overtime applying after 10 hours daily or 40 hours weekly

Provides firefighters in Tuscaloosa County municipalities overtime pay or compensatory leave for hours exceeding 24 hours per tour of duty or 53 hours per calendar week

Excludes the City of Tuscaloosa's Executive Director of Public Safety from eligibility for any overtime pay or compensatory leave under both law enforcement and fire protection provisions
