Authorizes the Marshall County Sheriff to sell abandoned and stolen personal property through Internet auction in addition to public auction, after property remains unclaimed for 12 consecutive months

Requires auctions of unclaimed property at least every six months, with public notice published in a newspaper for two successive weeks or posted at the courthouse for at least 20 days prior to sale

Removes the requirement that auction sales be paid only in cash and allows the seller to reject any bid deemed unreasonably low

Creates new recordkeeping requirements for abandoned or stolen firearms, including documentation of description, serial numbers, and recovery location, with efforts to locate owners through surrounding counties

Permits the sheriff to sell unclaimed firearms only to federally licensed gun dealers through sealed bids, or to destroy firearms, with sale proceeds (minus expenses) going to the Sheriff's Office; effective October 1, 2026
