Establishes a Military Veteran Temporary Teaching Certificate allowing veterans to teach K-12 in fields that normally require a bachelor's degree

Eligibility requires 48 months of active duty military service with honorable discharge or medical separation, 60 college credits with minimum 2.5 GPA, passing Praxis content test score, and recommendation from a local superintendent or private school administrator

Certificate holders must complete criminal background check and be assigned a mentor for minimum of two school years after employment begins

Certificate is valid for five school years, limited to one-time issuance, and is nonrenewable; department must inform recipients of pathways to obtain professional certification
