Expands eligibility for Alabama's firefighter distinctive license plate to include fire chaplains who are members in good standing of the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains

Requires proof of fire chaplain service through an affidavit signed by the President of the Alabama Fellowship of Fire Chaplains

Creates a Class C misdemeanor penalty for anyone who falsely obtains or falsely certifies another person to obtain a firefighter distinctive license plate

Restricts firefighter plates to personally owned, private passenger vehicles registered in the applicant's name

Effective date: January 1, 2027
