Prohibits disclosure or transmission of photographs or images of deceased individuals or human remains taken during coroner or law enforcement death investigations, whether the investigation is active or closed

Applies to images captured on both personal electronic devices and state or local agency equipment

Permits use of such images only for official coroner or law enforcement purposes or as otherwise authorized by law

Violation constitutes a Class B misdemeanor; disclosing or transmitting images for money, goods, services, or other gain elevates the offense to a Class A misdemeanor
