Amends Section 45-51-84 of the Code of Alabama to revise compensation for the Montgomery County Judge of Probate

Maintains base annual salary of $88,000 (effective October 1, 1996) with annual increases matching county employee raises, capped at $3,000 per fiscal year

Adds new provision allowing probate judges with at least six full years of service to receive salary equal to a circuit judge with equivalent years of service

Compensation paid from the Montgomery County Commission general fund

Effective immediately upon passage
