Authorizes the Lawrence County Sheriff to establish procedures for using credit cards or debit cards to purchase tangible personal property or services for the sheriff's office

Requires the sheriff to adopt written policies including monetary limits on individual purchases and total monthly spending, restricted card access, accurate record-keeping, monthly bill review for unauthorized charges, and timely full payment to avoid fees

Mandates the sheriff consider annual fees, rewards/rebates, interest rates, termination penalties, and other factors when selecting a card provider

Requires any rewards or rebates earned from card use to be deposited into the Lawrence County Sheriff's Discretionary Fund

Purchases must be paid from the Sheriff's Discretionary Fund, except travel expenses which may come from the general fund budget; effective October 1, 2026
