Authorizes Wilcox County to increase its board and county ad valorem tax from 10 mills to 19 mills per dollar of assessed value, effective October 1, 2027

Replaces an expiring ad valorem tax originally authorized by Act 2002-428, resulting in no net increase in the total county tax rate

Distributes the 9-mill increase as follows: 2 mills to the county general fund and 7 mills to the Wilcox County Board of Education for public schools

Requires approval by a majority of qualified county voters at a general, primary, constitutional, or special election

Effective date of June 1, 2026
