Active and contributing members of the District Attorneys' Plan and Judges' and Clerks' Plan may purchase previously withdrawn service credit from the Employees' Retirement System, Teachers' Retirement System, or either judicial plan

Members must complete two years of contributing service after joining the Judicial Retirement Fund and repay withdrawn amounts plus 8% compounded interest before retirement

Withdrawn service credit may only be purchased if the member does not already have credit for the same period in another public retirement system (excluding Social Security)

Amends Code of Alabama Sections 12-17-227.3 and 12-18-153 to align withdrawal purchase rules with those available to Employees' Retirement System and Teachers' Retirement System members
