For online subscriptions, businesses must provide a prominently located "click to cancel" button or direct cancellation link within account settings

Businesses must send reminder notices 3-21 days before free trials or promotional periods end, and 15-45 days before annual subscriptions auto-renew; fee changes require 7-30 days advance notice

Knowing or reckless violations constitute deceptive trade practices enforceable by the Attorney General, with civil penalties up to $7,500 per violation plus attorney fees; effective October 1, 2026
