Winterboro High School Girls Basketball Team won the AHSAA Class 1A State Championship on March 5, 2026, defeating Marion County Raiders 67–60 at BJCC Legacy Arena in Birmingham

First girls' state basketball championship in program history and first state basketball championship for any school in the Talladega County School System

State Tournament MVP Katelyn Brown scored 17 points in the finals; Kaleria Massingale (13 points) and Kailynn Williams (15 points) earned All-Tournament honors
