Joint resolution recognizing public safety concerns due to sparse or nonexistent navigational aids (buoys and markers) in Baldwin County waters between Mobile Bay, Weeks Bay, and the Magnolia River

Requests the Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency to coordinate with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Transportation, and local authorities to examine navigational aid placement and determine responsible governmental entities

Requires a written report to the Legislature within six months identifying which entity is responsible for navigational aids, any safety concerns in the area, and recommendations for improving boating safety

Notes that Florida and Texas have implemented state-administered waterway marker programs to supplement federal navigation aids in recreational boating areas
