Creates the Study Commission on Artificial Intelligence and Children's Internet Safety to examine effects of AI, social media, and internet access on children and develop legislative recommendations

Commission consists of 13 members including 6 legislators, the Attorney General or designee, and appointees from the Department of Mental Health, Voices for Alabama's Children, Alabama Cable and Broadband Association, TechNet, Lieutenant Governor, and Alabama Broadcasters Association

First meeting must occur by May 1, 2026; commission will elect its own chair and vice chair

Final report with findings, conclusions, and proposed legislation due to the Legislature by November 1, 2026, after which the commission automatically dissolves

Legislative members receive standard compensation and travel expenses; non-legislative members serve without compensation but may receive expense reimbursement
