Alabama Legislature commends Coach Jamie White for his service to Haleyville High School, where he has served as an educator for more than 13 years

Coach White began coaching golf in 2020 and built a 70-8 overall record, remaining undefeated in regular-season play and losing only once to a Class 4A opponent in six years

Awards include 4A Golf Coach of the Year (2022-2025), 2025 State Golf Coach of the Year, and 2025 NFHS National Golf Coach of the Year

Seven student-athletes under his mentorship have continued golf careers at the collegiate level over the past six years

Resolution passed the House on February 3, 2026 and was adopted by the Senate on February 10, 2026
