Joint resolution commending the Alabama Scenic River Trail (ASRT), established in 2008 and designated as a National Recreational Trail in 2009 and National Water Trail in 2012, which has expanded from 631 miles to over 6,300 miles of waterways

Recognizes the Great Alabama 650, the longest solo paddle race in the country, held for the seventh consecutive year in 2025

Commends 2025 race winners: Overall/Male Solo Winner Trey Reaves (Florence, AL) with a time of 7 days, 3 hours, 20 minutes; Female Solo Winner Ryan Gillikin (Bay Minette, AL) at 8 days, 18 hours, 37 minutes; and Tandem Team Winners Jessica Nance and Candi Hill at 8 days, 22 hours, 35 minutes

Acknowledges ASRT's partnerships with over 70 canoe/kayak rental shops, outfitters, and community organizations to promote outdoor tourism and water recreation safety
