The organization has awarded 660 academic scholarships totaling $466,000 to participating athletes

The ASF Foundation's "Honoring Our Heroes" program will present commemorative medals to Native Americans, military members, veterans, and descendants of those who contributed to Alabama's cultural and historical welfare

Encourages city and county governments, veterans' organizations, businesses, and community groups to participate in celebrating America's 250th birthday
