Alabama House Resolution honoring the Muscle Shoals High School Band Program on its 60th anniversary, established in 1965 under Director Charles R. Stratford

Program has had only five Head Directors in 60 years: Charles Stratford, Dexter Greenhaw, Pat Stegall, David Waters, and current Director Jessica Hood

Achievements include over 30 consecutive years of superior concert band ratings, 60 years of superior marching band ratings, four back-to-back Bands of America Class Championships, and four-time Alabama Marching Band Champion

Band has earned local, statewide, regional, national, and international recognition, including three Grand Champion Awards at the Vanderbilt Marching Invitational

Resolution extends congratulations and commendation for 60 years of excellence in music education and performance
