McGuyer authored the Saving Grace Activity Book, an educational and therapeutic resource for children in difficult home situations; more than 800 free books have been donated to children in the CASA program nationwide

The organization educates caregivers, educators, and community members on recognizing behavioral, emotional, and environmental indicators of abuse to promote earlier intervention
