Transportation barriers disproportionately affect low-income individuals, rural residents, older adults, and individuals with disabilities, while employers report difficulty hiring and retaining workers due to transportation gaps

Encourages collaboration among state agencies, employers, transit providers, workforce organizations, and local leaders to ensure the assessment reflects diverse community and workforce needs
