Nine Hoover-area charities have received foundation support: Hoover Helps, Neighborhood Bridges Hoover, Hoover YMCA, Hope for Autumn Foundation, Ady's Big Army, Hoover City Schools Foundation, Family Connection, Libby's Friends, and Joyful Noise Foundation

Resolution encourages communities throughout Alabama to promote acts of kindness, service, and support for children and families in a similar spirit
