Alabama House Resolution honors Ms. Lynne Berry as special guest at the Rosetta James Foundation's 20th Annual "Honoring Our Elders Day" Gala on March 14, 2026, at the Jackson Center in Huntsville

Ms. Berry is a Vanderbilt University graduate with over 40 years of nonprofit leadership in North Alabama, including roles at The Nature Conservancy, Historic Huntsville Foundation, HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, and Huntsville Hospital Foundation

As Founding Executive Director of The Community Foundation of Huntsville/Madison County, she grew assets to $9.9 million and distributed $2.2 million in grants; at HudsonAlpha she increased revenue by 400 percent

Awards received include the 2024 Martin Luther King Unity Award, Wayne Greenhaw Award from the Alabama Humanities Foundation, and NASA's Exceptional Achievement Award
