Mrs. Coleman was a lifelong woman of faith who served at multiple Alabama churches including Orange Hill Baptist Church in Grove Hill, Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Mobile, El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, and Bethel A.M.E. Church

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her parents, and multiple siblings
