Appointed by Governor Robert Bentley in January 2011 as Administrator of the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board, overseeing more than 800 employees and 168 retail and wholesale stores statewide until his retirement in 2022

Founded and operated Gipson Auto Tire, Incorporated in Prattville, Alabama; earned an MBA from Troy State University; served as a U.S. Army veteran
