Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute continued until October 1, 2028, under the Alabama Sunset Law as recommended by the Sunset Committee

Institute must convene with the Alabama Department of Workforce and other interested parties to evaluate options for utilizing the department's administrative and operational resources

Report on findings must be submitted to the Chair of the Sunset Committee and appropriate legislators by the tenth legislative day of the 2027 Regular Session

All parties absolved of duties and cease meeting after report submission

Act becomes effective June 1, 2026
