2% salary increase for all state employees beginning with the first pay day on or after October 1, 2026

Applies to classified and unclassified state employees, hourly employees, judicial personnel, legislative personnel, and county health department employees under the State Merit System

Excludes local supplements for judges and local employees whose salaries are tied to state employee pay

Does not apply to Merit System or hourly employees covered by labor agreements or contracts

Appropriations for the increase to be made through the annual budget act for affected entities
