Establishes base compensation for county commissioners, county commission chairs, judges of probate, sheriffs, tax assessors, tax collectors, revenue commissioners, license commissioners, and elected assistant tax assessors/collectors as the amount paid to the officeholder on May 31, 2026

Counties are categorized by population using the 1990 federal census into six tiers ranging from under 19,000 to over 450,000 residents

Local officials receive the same uniform percentage or flat-dollar increases granted to all full-time county employees, applied to both base salary and expense allowances

Officials whose compensation is tied to state official salaries cannot receive uniform county employee increases; local laws contradicting this become invalid when the current officeholder vacates after May 31, 2026

Repeals Sections 11-2A-3, 11-2A-6, 11-2A-7, and 11-2A-8 of the Code of Alabama 1975; effective June 1, 2026
