Replaces the term "independent pharmacy" (defined as a community pharmacy classified by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy) with "unaffiliated pharmacy" (defined as a pharmacy not affiliated with a pharmacy benefits manager)

Amends Act 2025-136, which governs the licensing and operation of pharmacy benefits managers in Alabama

Maintains existing protections for non-PBM-affiliated pharmacies, including minimum reimbursement at the Medicaid rate and prohibition on claim rejections when drugs are available elsewhere

Renumbers statutory definitions in Sections 27-45A-3, 27-45A-10, and 27-45A-13 of the Code of Alabama to accommodate the terminology change
