Lynch served as General Manager, President, and Chairman of Talladega Superspeedway for over 26 years beginning in 1993, overseeing a $50,000,000 infield transformation completed in 2019

Received NASCAR's Buddy Shuman Award in 2018 and served as Vice President of International Speedway Corporation, overseeing construction of Kansas Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway

Served on multiple civic and charitable boards including the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, Talladega County Economic Development Authority, and as Board Chairman of the Talladega Ritz Theatre for over a decade

Resolution expresses sympathy to his surviving family including wife Marcia Pfaff Lynch, daughters Ashley Lynch Jackson and Sara Katherine Lynch, and extended family members
