Alabama Legislature jointly mourns the death of Clifford "Ray" Miller of Talladega, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at age 90

Miller served as Executive Director of Alabama Industries for the Blind from 1967 to 1996, tripling its workforce to become the largest employer of visually impaired people in Alabama and second largest nationally

Served on the Talladega Municipal Airport Board from 1977 to 2024 (Chair from 2000-2024) and on the Talladega City School Board for 14 years with multiple terms as President

Member of First Methodist Church of Talladega for over 60 years and Lions Club member since 1962, inducted into the Lions Club Hall of Fame after more than 60 years of service

Resolution pays tribute to his life and extends sympathy to his surviving family members
