Commends the CoachSafely Foundation for maintaining high standards in coaching, sports medicine content, and educational efficacy for youth sports injury mitigation in Alabama

Recognizes the Coach Safely Act (Chapter 11F, Title 22, Code of Alabama), passed in 2018 as the nation's first comprehensive youth sports injury mitigation legislation, requiring all coaches of athletes 14 and under using public property to complete safety training

Commends the Alabama Department of Public Health for implementing and enforcing the Coach Safely Act, including 2025 amendments authorizing compliance enforcement with penalties

Encourages that any educational course satisfying Coach Safely Act requirements be approved by the National Council of Youth Sports or a similar nationally recognized organization

Urges the CoachSafely Foundation to continue periodic review of content for alignment with peer-reviewed research, survey coaches for improvement, and maintain a database of course completions for compliance tracking
