Commends five law enforcement officers honored as 2026 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa at a February 26, 2026 ceremony at Synergic Center in Northport

Honorees include Officer Will Clark (University of Alabama Police), Officer Dustin Burroughs (Tuscaloosa Police), Trooper Kadarius Blakley (Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency), Deputy Jeff Miller (Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office), and Officer Kyle Sanford (Northport Police)

Officers were recognized for duties including serving on task forces, working high-traffic interstate areas near the University of Alabama, and investigating shootings and homicides

The Exchange Club of Tuscaloosa has honored local law enforcement through this annual ceremony since the late 1960s

Katherine Robertson, general counsel from the Alabama Attorney General's Office, served as featured speaker and recognized the officers for professionalism, bravery, and dedication
