AR HB1313

Authorizes the president of the Arkansas Municipal Police Association to designate a representative to serve as a full voting member on the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

The designee serves during the president's term of office and successors likewise serve as full voting members.

Amends Arkansas Code § 12-9-103(b) and (c) to incorporate the Municipal Police Association representative into the commission's membership structure.

Clarifies that the appointment of members to seven (7) year terms applies to all members except the president of the Arkansas Municipal Police Association.

Each congressional district of the state must be represented on the commission, with remaining members appointed from the state at large.
