AR HB1402

Establishes a new Arkansas Code section (15-1-103) to honor Arkansas service members killed in combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other regions during the war on terror

Requires the State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission to rename state parks after fallen Arkansans, with names drawn by lot from a list provided by the U.S. Department of Defense

Requires the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission to rename wildlife management areas and nature centers after fallen Arkansans, with names similarly drawn by lot from Department of Defense records

Directs both commissions to assign selected names to facilities nearest the fallen service member's home whenever practicable

Prohibits duplication of names between state parks and wildlife management areas/nature centers to ensure each fallen hero is honored with a unique facility
