AR HB1498

Amends Arkansas Code Title 25, Chapter 1, Subchapter 1 to add new section 25-1-118 requiring electronic filing of reports by state agencies to state entities

Defines "entity of the state" to include state agencies, the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, Auditor of State, Treasurer of State, Commissioner of State Lands, the General Assembly, and legislative committees or subcommittees

Defines "state agency" as every department, division, office, board, commission, and institution of the state, including state-supported institutions of higher education

Requires state agencies to file any report mandated by Arkansas law in electronic form and post it on their Internet website when applicable

Exempts reports from public posting requirements when information within the report is protected from public disclosure by state or federal law
