Appropriates $2,000,000 from the General Improvement Fund to the Department of Community Correction for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012.

Funds may be used for maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, contracting, acquisition, improvement, upgrade, and repair of real property and facilities.

Department may supplement State Treasury funds with grants, donations (including Federal funds), and unobligated cash income to finance projects.

Disbursement must comply with State Purchasing Law, General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, Revenue Stabilization Law, and other applicable fiscal control laws.

Act takes effect July 1, 2011 under emergency clause provisions.
