AR HB1565

Amends Arkansas Code § 21-2-105 to allow county or district officials to act as holdover officers and administer oaths of office to incoming county or district officials, including their successors.

Specifies that upon completion of the oath, the outgoing officer immediately vacates his or her position.

Provides that the incoming officer assumes all rights, privileges, and duties of the respective office upon oath completion.
