AR HB1775

Requires all motorcycles and motor-driven cycles manufactured or assembled after July 5, 1977, to be equipped with electrical turn signals meeting the requirements of Arkansas Code § 27-36-216(b).

Requires all motorized bicycles used on public streets to be equipped with electrical turn signals meeting the same requirements as motorcycles.

Removes the exemption that previously allowed motorcycles and motor-driven cycles to operate without turn signals, now requiring turn signals for any such vehicle manufactured or assembled after January 1, 1973.

Makes technical corrections to existing equipment standards for motorcycles and motorized bicycles, updating language regarding headlights, reflectors, and other required safety equipment.
