Increases the maximum total meritorious good time award for Department of Correction inmates from 270 days to 360 days per successful program completion.

Maintains the existing 90-day maximum award per individual program completion.

Adds pre-release and other rehabilitative programs or assignments approved by the Board of Corrections as eligible categories for meritorious good time awards.

Preserves existing eligibility for meritorious good time awards through completion of general education development certificates, vocational programs with certification, and drug or alcohol treatment programs.
