AR HB2202

Creates a new law restricting employment activities of former state regulatory officials from eight specified positions including members of the Public Service Commission, Insurance Commissioner, State Bank Commissioner, and Securities Commissioner.

Permanently prohibits former regulatory officials from acting as a principal or agent for non-state parties in any judicial, administrative, contractual, or other proceeding in which they personally and substantially participated during their tenure and the state has a direct or substantial interest.

Imposes a one-year post-employment restriction prohibiting former regulatory officials from representing non-state parties in matters that were within their official responsibility, even if they did not directly participate in those specific matters.

Establishes a Class A misdemeanor penalty for knowing violations of these restrictions.
