Acknowledges Walmart employed more than 48,000 associates in Arkansas and generated $419 billion in global sales in fiscal year 2011, with $10 billion in purchases from Arkansas suppliers supporting 53,000 supplier jobs.

Notes Walmart collected $375.7 million in sales taxes on behalf of the state and paid $143.2 million in state and local taxes in fiscal year 2010.

Documents that Walmart stores, Sam's Club, and the Walmart Foundation contributed more than $33.5 million in cash and in-kind donations to Arkansas communities in fiscal year 2010, with additional customer and associate donations totaling $36.1 million.
