AR SB519

Appropriates $300,000 to the Department of Arkansas Heritage from the General Improvement Fund for grants, maintenance, renovation, equipping, construction, acquisition, improvement, upgrade and repair projects.

Allows the department to supplement state funds with grants, donations, federal funds, and unobligated cash income to finance entire project costs.

Prohibits use of maintenance and general operations appropriations for the purposes specified in this act.

Requires strict compliance with state purchasing, accounting, budgeting, and fiscal control laws in disbursement of funds unless otherwise specified by law.

Declares the act effective July 1, 2011 as an emergency measure necessary for agency operations and preservation of public peace, health and safety.
